Terms of Service
Last updated 3 August 2026
1. Accounts and eligibility
AI Stage requires a registered, signed-in account for all listening, uploading and social features. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
Accounts may hold one or more roles — listener, artist, radio presenter, manager or administrator. Elevated roles are granted by us and may be revoked at any time. Attempting to obtain a role you were not granted, or to access moderation, admin or payout tooling without authorisation, is a breach of these terms.
2. Your content and ownership
You keep ownership of the master recordings, compositions, artwork, lyrics, story content and other material you upload. By uploading, you confirm that you own or control all rights required, including rights in any vocals, samples, stems, instrumentals, models or datasets used to create the work.
If a recording has already been released, you must supply valid registration identifiers — an ISRC for the recording and an ISWC where the composition is registered. Where a track uses a cloned or modelled voice, you must hold documented consent from the voice owner and complete the platform's voice-clone consent verification before the track can be published.
3. AI disclosure requirements
AI Stage is built for AI-assisted and independent music, and honest disclosure is the core of the platform. For every upload you must declare the role AI played, using the disclosure tiers offered in the upload flow: fully human-made, AI-assisted (for example, arrangement, mastering or lyric help), AI-generated with human curation, or fully AI-generated.
Disclosures are stored with the release and shown to listeners as provenance information. Deliberately understating AI involvement, or removing disclosure metadata, is grounds for takedown of the affected release and account suspension.
4. Upload rules and technical requirements
Audio must be delivered as WAV or MP3 that meets the published quality floor of 44.1 kHz / 16-bit or better. Cover artwork must be at least 1400 × 1400 pixels, must not contain third-party logos or streaming-service branding, and must not misrepresent the artist or the content of the release.
We transcode, loudness-normalise and analyse every accepted upload so that playback is consistent across the platform. Scheduled releases go live at the time you set; until then they remain private to you and to reviewing staff.
5. Screening, moderation and enforcement
Every upload is automatically screened before it can be published. Screening includes acoustic fingerprinting against known recordings, lyric and transcription analysis, artwork checks and safety moderation. Publishing is blocked until a track passes, or until a manager records a documented override. You can download a report for each check and follow the remediation steps shown in the upload interface.
We also monitor for stream manipulation. Plays that appear automated, incentivised or otherwise artificial may be discounted, and affected tracks or accounts may be quarantined pending review.
Comments, chat, live streams and profile content are subject to moderation. Reported content is queued for human review and may be removed or restored, and repeat offenders may be muted, suspended or removed. Moderation actions are recorded in an internal audit log.
6. Licence you grant to AI Stage
To operate the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, encode, transcode, cache, analyse, reproduce, publicly perform and display the content you upload, solely for the purposes of running, promoting and improving AI Stage. This includes creating derived technical assets such as transcodes, waveforms, fingerprints, previews, and generated radio and AI DJ segments that reference your release.
We do not sell your masters, and we do not use your recordings to train third-party generative models without your separate, explicit consent. The licence ends when you delete a release, except for copies retained in backups, moderation records and legal or accounting records for as long as required.
7. Licensing and sales (not yet available)
AI Stage does not sell songs, downloads or licences at this stage. No purchase, checkout or licensing transaction is offered on the platform, and no work you upload is placed on sale. Music is made available for streaming only.
A licensing marketplace is part of our future planning. If and when it launches, it will be optional, announced in advance, and governed by terms you can review before listing any work.
8. Payments, royalties and taxes
Artists who upload music to AI Stage do not earn royalties or payouts at this stage. There is no earnings balance, payout threshold or revenue share in operation, and streams do not generate money for artists or for us.
Artist royalties and payouts are part of our future planning. We will publish the payout model, the rates and the tax obligations that apply before any payments begin, and uploading music now does not create a claim to past or future revenue. Where paid plans exist, they renew automatically for the interval selected until cancelled, and payments are processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card details.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use AI Stage to:
- upload content you do not have the rights to, or impersonate another artist;
- clone or imitate a person's voice or likeness without documented consent;
- publish hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or unlawful content;
- inflate plays, follows, likes or chart position by any automated or incentivised means;
- scrape, re-stream, rip or redistribute audio, artwork or stream URLs from the platform;
- probe, bypass or interfere with our security, rate limits, DRM or moderation systems.
10. Copyright and takedowns
If you believe content on AI Stage infringes your rights, submit a copyright claim or a formal DMCA notice. We review valid notices, may remove or restrict the content, and notify the uploader so they can respond. Accounts that repeatedly infringe are terminated.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using AI Stage and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or where continued access creates risk for other users, rights holders or the platform. Where reasonable, we tell you why and give you a route to appeal.
12. Disclaimers and liability
AI Stage is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Automated screening, fingerprinting and AI features are helpful but not perfect, and they do not constitute legal clearance for your release — you remain responsible for the rights in what you publish. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes are announced in the app, and the date at the top of this page is updated. Continuing to use AI Stage after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms, or about a moderation decision, can be sent to musiek@veldbrandki.co.za. Rights-holder notices should use the copyright or DMCA forms linked above.
